Spring Practice Period 2025
Our Spring Practice Period will be devoted to an in-depth investigation of seven Bodhisattva archetypes as spiritual helpers in the world quite apart for any Buddhist tradition. With the help of Faces of Compassion by Taigen Dan Leighton, each week we will be welcoming seven senior clergy. Emyo Darlene Tataryn, Jozen Jonathon Fielder, Hosho Don Koehler, Nanda Nina Lynch, Kenshin Cian Whalley, Ming Po Larry Matthews and Ekai Joel Kreisberg. We welcome these leaders as they share their insight into the bodhisattva path.

Three open practice periods each week.

Our Teachers & The Seven Bodhisattvas
The text for the Spring Practice Period 2025
Faces of Compassion
by Taigen Dan Leighton
The bodhisattva path is not restrictive or exclusive, but offers a wide array of psychological tools for finding our personal path toward a meaningful, constructive lifestyle. By following teachings about generosity, patience, ethical conduce, meditative balance, and insight into what is essential, we can come to benefit others.
-Taigen Dan Leighton, Faces of Compassion

Four Inconceivable Vows
Living beings are infinite, I vow to free them,
Delusions are inexhaustible, I vow to cut through them.
Dharma gates are boundless, I vow to enter them.
The Buddha Way is unsurpassable, I vow to realize it.
— Taigen Dan Leighton, Faces of Compassion
