Enlightenment while Functioning in the World
Dharma Talk by Hosho Don Koehler
Saturday, April 19th
9:00 am - 11:00 am ET (New York)
Online
Join us for the third of the seven bodhisattva archetypes from Taigen Dan Leighton’s Faces of Compassion. This session explores Samantabhadra as a Bodhisattva archetype. Samantabhadha or Fugen in Japanese, means “Universal Virtue” or “Worthy.” Sitting on his elephant he represents the application of wisdom, embodying the luminous web of interconnectedness of all beings.
Share with the sangha as we listen to the reflections of senior dharma teacher Hosho Don Koehler, followed by question and response. After a short break you are invited to our weekly morning service and zazen practice.
The Spring Practice Period is open to anyone.
There is no fee for this event. A donation requested.
